Brussels: RoundupReady rape seed on the agenda?

March 15th 2013

In discussions between national experts this month, the authorisation of RoundupReady tolerant rape seed for import as food and feed will be discussed. This meeting will receive little public attention, but will play an important role in deciding whether this GM variety of rape seed will be authorised in the EU. The national experts will meet on March 20th to discuss the authorisation for import of Monsanto’s rapeseed called GT37.
